Rockwood Furniture Co. is growing, and we're looking for a talented, motivated Furniture Sales & Interior Design Consultant to join our team!
We're not your typical furniture store. At Rockwood, we specialize in creating a personalized, custom furniture buying experience that helps our customers turn their houses into homes.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for interior design, an eye for beautiful spaces, and the personality and drive to turn great customer relationships into successful sales.

This is a sales position with a strong interior design focus. The ideal candidate loves helping people create beautiful homes, enjoys working with customers, and is motivated to achieve sales goals.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers into our showroom and provide an exceptional, personalized shopping experience.
• Help customers design beautiful, functional living spaces through furniture selection, color coordination, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
• Provide interior design guidance and creative solutions tailored to each customer's style, needs, and budget.
• Build lasting customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
• Present and sell high-quality, customizable furniture and home furnishings.

• Create room layouts, furniture arrangements, and design presentations when needed.
• Manage customer projects from the initial consultation through ordering and delivery.
• Follow up with customers, manage leads, and consistently work toward individual sales goals.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver Rockwood's signature white glove customer experience.
• Stay current on furniture styles, interior design trends, and product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• Our ideal candidate is both creative and sales-driven.
• A genuine passion for interior design, home furnishings, and helping people create beautiful spaces.

• Previous experience in furniture sales, interior design, home furnishings, or a related field preferred.
• Strong sales skills and a desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A natural eye for color, style, proportion, and space planning.
• Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working with computers, design software, and customer management systems.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of the customer experience.
• Interior design education or experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
